Editorial Policy

Last updated: June 21, 2026

This Editorial Policy explains how Money Masters Media plans, writes, reviews, and maintains its content. It exists so readers know what to expect from us, and how we try to keep our work accurate, useful, and honest. It applies to our guides, articles, market explainers, calculators, and the rest of the Site.

Our mission and who we serve

Money Masters Media is a financial education platform. Our goal is to help everyday readers understand how money and markets work, in plain English, so they can make their own decisions with more confidence. We write for beginners and self-directed learners, not for professionals trading on our behalf.

Education, not financial advice

Everything we publish is for general education and information only. We are not a financial advisor, broker, or dealer, and we do not provide personalized investment, tax, or legal advice. We do not tell any reader to buy, sell, or hold a specific security. Markets carry risk, and past performance does not guarantee future results. For how to interpret our content, see our disclaimer.

Who writes our content

Our content is produced by the Money Masters editorial team and is overseen by our founder, Kenny Goodrich. Editorial pages carry a named author or the Money Masters editorial byline so you can see who stands behind the work. You can learn more about who we are on our about page.

How we research and write

  • We aim to write clearly and avoid hype, jargon, and exaggerated claims.
  • Factual statements, figures, and definitions are checked against reputable primary sources where possible, such as official agencies, regulators, exchanges, and recognized data providers.
  • We try to distinguish facts from interpretation, and to explain the assumptions and limits behind any numbers, projections, or examples we present.
  • Our calculators are educational models. They run in your browser using the inputs you provide, label their assumptions, and state that results are hypothetical, not predictions.

Use of artificial intelligence

We may use software tools, including AI assistance, to help with drafting, formatting, and research. A human reviews content for accuracy and clarity before it is published, and the editorial team is responsible for what appears on the Site.

Sources and references

Where a page relies on specific data, rules, or statistics, we try to name the sources so you can verify them. When sources disagree or a figure is uncertain or fast-moving, we try to say so rather than present false precision. How our data and calculators work is described in our methodology.

Independence: advertising and affiliate links

Money Masters Media is funded by advertising and, on some pages, affiliate links. Advertising is served by third parties such as Google AdSense and is kept separate from our editorial decisions. Advertisers do not review, approve, or influence our content, and an ad appearing next to an article is not an endorsement of that advertiser by us, or of our content by the advertiser.

Some links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you, if you act on them. This never changes what we choose to cover or how we describe it. For details, see our affiliate disclosure.

Keeping content current

Markets, rules, and figures change. We review and update content over time, and many pages carry a visible last-reviewed or last-updated date so you can judge how current the information is. Older pages may not reflect the latest conditions, so always check the date and confirm time-sensitive details yourself.

Corrections

We want to fix mistakes quickly and openly. If you spot an error, please tell us. How we handle reports and issue corrections is described in our corrections policy.
