Methodology

Last updated: June 21, 2026

This page explains how Money Masters Media produces its content: how we research, where our data comes from, how our calculators work, and where the limits are. It is meant to help you judge how much weight to put on what you read here. It works alongside our editorial policy.

How we research

We start from reputable primary sources and explain ideas in plain language. Where a page makes a factual claim or quotes a figure, we try to base it on official data, recognized providers, or established reference material, and to name the source so you can check it. When a topic is contested or a number is uncertain or fast-moving, we try to say so rather than imply false certainty.

Where our data comes from

Market and economic figures shown on the Site are sourced from public and third-party data providers. Depending on the page, these include:

  • Economic data from official sources such as the U.S. Federal Reserve Economic Data service (FRED), including interest rate, treasury, and inflation series.
  • Market and asset data from market-data providers for quotes, charts, and similar information on stocks, funds, and indices.
  • Crypto data from public blockchain and market data sources for price and network information.

Live data is provided as-is and can be delayed, incomplete, or occasionally unavailable. We do not guarantee that any figure is accurate or current at the moment you view it, and you should confirm anything important against an official source before relying on it.

How our calculators work

Our calculators are educational models, not advice and not predictions. A few principles apply across all of them:

  • They use your inputs. Results are driven by the numbers you enter, including any rates of return you assume. Those assumptions are yours, not forecasts from us.
  • They run in your browser. The figures you type are used to calculate on your device and are not sent to us.
  • They state their assumptions. Each tool describes how it works and what it leaves out, such as taxes, fees, and inflation, so you can read the result in context.
  • They are hypothetical. Outputs are illustrations of how the math could play out under your assumptions. Real markets vary every year, and returns are not guaranteed.

You can explore the full set on our tools page.

Reviewing and dating content

We review content over time and refresh it as conditions change. Many pages display a visible last-reviewed or last-updated date, and some carry their data sources, so you can judge how current the information is and where it came from. Older pages may not reflect the latest conditions.

Limitations

Money Masters Media is an education platform, not a financial advisor. Nothing here is personalized advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Data can contain errors or gaps, models are simplifications, and all investing carries risk, including the possible loss of principal. Always do your own research and consider speaking with a licensed professional. See our disclaimer for the full terms.
